Responsibilities:

  • Communicate clearly with drivers and pedestrians to direct traffic effectively.
  • Manage the flow of vehicles in and out of designated areas, ensuring minimal disruption.
  • Maintain a high level of awareness regarding surroundings to identify potential hazards.
  • Assist in the implementation of traffic management plans during events or construction activities.
  • Report any incidents or safety concerns to the appropriate authorities promptly.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure a cohesive approach to traffic management.

Requirements:

  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups of people.
  • Strong organisational skills with the capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Experience in maintaining safety standards in a busy environment is preferred.
  • Valid certification for this role.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick decisions when necessary.
  • Previous experience as a Traffic Marshall or in a similar role is essential.
