Job Summary

This is a 2 day holiday cover.

The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to maintaining safety standards. This role is crucial in ensuring that all traffic flows smoothly, particularly in busy environments such as construction sites or events.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage the flow of traffic to ensure safety for both vehicles and pedestrians.
• Communicate effectively with drivers and pedestrians, providing clear instructions and guidance.
• Monitor site conditions and report any maintenance needs or hazards to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist in setting up traffic control measures, including signage and barriers.
• Conduct regular inspections of the area to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Collaborate with other team members to coordinate activities and maintain an orderly environment.
• Maintain a professional demeanour at all times while representing the organisation.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Traffic Marshall is advantageous.
• Strong maintenance skills to identify and report issues promptly.
• Valid Traffic Marshall ticket/card.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with diverse groups.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to safety practices.
