Traffic Marshall

Duties:

• Direct and control vehicle and pedestrian movement within construction zones to prevent accidents and ensure safety.
• Sign in lorries, delivery vehicles, and other traffic, guiding them to designated areas.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verifying authorised access in accordance with site regulations.
• Maintain clear communication with site personnel using hand signals or radio devices.
• Assist with general site safety procedures, including reporting hazards or unsafe behaviours.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times during operations.
• Support in managing traffic flow during peak periods or when large deliveries are scheduled.

Skills:

• Previous experience in construction or traffic management is essential.
• Strong communication skills in English, capable of clearly conveying instructions and information.
• Ability to remain alert and attentive for extended periods, especially during busy periods.
• Valid Traffic Marshall ticket with CSCS card.
• 2 previous references for the same role.
• Organised with good organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
