Telehandler

Job Summary:

You must have a fit to work medical.

The successful candidate will operate telehandler machinery to assist with loading, unloading, and moving materials across a construction site.

Responsibilities:

• Operate telehandler equipment safely and efficiently to move materials around construction sites or industrial facilities.
• Assist with loading and unloading goods from lorries or storage areas.
• Conduct routine inspections of the telehandler to ensure operational safety and report any maintenance issues.
• Collaborate with site managers and other team members to coordinate material handling tasks.
• Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues with machinery and perform basic maintenance when required.
• Ensure all safety protocols are adhered to during operations, including the use of appropriate PPE.

Qualifications:

• Valid CPCS or NPORS.
• Proven experience in operating telehandlers within a construction.
• Mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform routine inspections and basic repairs on machinery.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and commitment to safety standards.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
