Telehandler

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a telehandler to move materials and equipment on construction sites. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical operations and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Duties:

• Operate the telehandler safely and efficiently to transport materials across the site.
• Load and unload materials from lorries and storage areas.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on the telehandler to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Assist with excavation tasks as needed, utilising excavator skills when required.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

• Valid commercial driving licence is preferred.
• Valid CPCS card.
• Strong mechanical knowledge, with the ability to troubleshoot minor issues with equipment.
• Previous experience operating a telehandler is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
