Responsibilities:

  • Operate telehandlers safely and efficiently to transport materials across the site.
  • Load and unload materials from lorries and storage areas, ensuring proper handling techniques are employed.
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance on telehandler equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure smooth operations on site.
  • Follow all safety regulations and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.

Experience:

  • Previous experience operating telehandlers is essential.
  • Valid certification for this role is essential.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues with equipment.
  • A valid commercial driving licence is advantageous.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing site conditions.
  • Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset are essential for success in this role.
