Telehandler

Duties:

• Operate telehandlers safely and efficiently to transport materials across the site.
• Help with labouring when you are not operating the machine.
• Load and unload materials from lorries and other vehicles.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on telehandler equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with team members to coordinate lifting operations and ensure safety compliance.
• Assist in the operation of excavators when required, demonstrating versatility in machinery handling.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to all health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

• Valid commercial driving licence and CPCS is essential for operating machinery on-site.
• Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and perform basic repairs on equipment.
• Experience operating excavators.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork and coordination on site.
• Commitment to following safety protocols and ensuring a safe working environment for all personnel.

Job Type: Fixed term contract
