The ideal candidate will be a hands-on and proactive manager with a strong background in housebuilding and a commitment to quality, health & safety, and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate all on-site construction activities.
- Manage subcontractors and ensure works are completed safely and to a high standard.
- Monitor progress against the programme and report to senior management.
- Conduct regular site inspections, toolbox talks, and enforce site health & safety standards.
- Maintain site records and ensure compliance with NHBC/building regulations.
- Liaise with suppliers, local authorities, and internal teams.
Requirements:
- CSCS Black Card (essential).
- SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) – essential.
- First Aid at Work – essential.
- Proven experience managing new build housing sites (volume or bespoke).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to start immediately or at short notice.
