Small Commercial Refurbishment – Carlisle | £270/day | Start ASAP
A well-respected regional main contractor is seeking an experienced and certified professional to oversee a very small commercial refurbishment project in Carlisle, starting immediately.
This is a short-term role ideal for someone confident in managing site safety and compliance on a small-scale job. The day-to-day works will be handled by subcontractors — your key responsibility will be maintaining health & safety standards on site and coordinating basic site activities.

Main Responsibilities:
- Oversee on-site health & safety compliance
- Monitor subcontractor activity and ensure safe working practices
- Basic coordination of deliveries and workflow
- Ensure site remains tidy, secure, and compliant with regulations
Requirements:
- Valid CSCS card
- SMSTS or SSSTS (essential)
- First Aid certification (preferred)
- Strong understanding of H&S procedures on small commercial sites
- Immediate availability
