Temporary Site Manager

Stoke-on-Trent
Start: ASAP
Duration: Approx. 4 weeks

The Project:

  • Large-scale school refurbishment.
  • Partial new build extension.
  • Significant external civils package.
  • Live site environment requiring strong H&S leadership and coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing and managing hard landscaping works.
  • Supervising and coordinating Section 278 works.
  • Managing permits and local authority approvals.
  • Ensuring full compliance with Health & Safety procedures and site documentation.
  • Supporting and overseeing internal refurbishment works.
  • Coordinating subcontractors and maintaining programme.
  • Liaising with the client, consultants, and project stakeholders.
  • Ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to quality standards.

Essential Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager on education or similar projects.
  • Strong background in civils works, including hard landscaping and 278 works.
  • Experience managing permits and H&S processes.
  • Ability to manage both external works and internal refurbishment packages.
  • SMSTS, First Aid, and CSCS (Black/Gold) required.
