Site Manager – Social Housing Refurbishment
Location: Bradford (with local travel)

Overview:
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established construction contractor delivering kitchen and bathroom replacement programmes across social housing properties in the Bradford area. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Site Manager to join a stable, reputable business with a strong pipeline of work.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing site operations on occupied social housing projects, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to a high standard of quality and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day site operations for kitchen and bathroom replacement works.
- Coordinate subcontractors, direct labour, and suppliers.
- Ensure works are delivered in line with programme and client expectations.
- Maintain high standards of health & safety, quality, and compliance.
- Liaise with residents, housing officers, and client representatives professionally.
- Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks, and regular safety inspections.
- Monitor progress, report on performance, and resolve on-site issues.
- Ensure works are completed with minimal disruption in occupied properties.
- Maintain accurate site records and documentation.
Required Experience & Skills:
- Proven experience as a Site Manager within social housing refurbishment.
- Strong background in kitchen and bathroom replacement programmes.
- Experience working in occupied properties is essential.
- Good knowledge of health & safety regulations and construction standards.
- Strong organisational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple trades and programmes simultaneously.
Qualifications:
- SMSTS (Essential)
- CSCS (Black or Gold)
- First Aid at Work (Preferred)
- Asbestos Awareness (Desirable)
