Site Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all on-site activities to ensure safe and efficient delivery of the refurbishment works.
• Coordinate subcontractors, trades, and materials on-site.
• Maintain strong communication with the project team, school representatives, and stakeholders.
• Ensure works are carried out in accordance with the programme, design, and quality standards.
• Monitor health and safety compliance and carry out regular site inspections.
• Manage site documentation, including RAMS, daily diaries, and progress reports.

Essential Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Site Manager on refurbishment or education sector projects.
• SMSTS, CSCS (Black or White card), and First Aid at Work certifications.
• Strong understanding of construction health & safety legislation.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage live school environments, including safeguarding considerations.

Desirable:

• Previous experience working on school refurbishment or education sector projects.
• Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain one).
