Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain SHEQ policies, procedures, and systems in line with company and legal requirements.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure adherence to SHEQ standards.
- Lead incident investigations and produce detailed reports with corrective actions.
- Provide SHEQ training and support to site teams and employees.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies and ensure timely reporting of required documentation.
- Monitor and analyse SHEQ performance data and prepare regular reports for senior management.
- Promote best practices and a strong safety culture across all levels of the organisation.
Requirements:
- NEBOSH Construction Certificate or equivalent (NEBOSH Diploma or similar desirable).
- Proven experience in a SHEQ role within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of relevant UK health & safety and environmental legislation.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to influence and engage teams at all levels.
- Full UK driving licence.
Desirable:
- Membership of IOSH, IEMA, or similar professional bodies.
- Experience with ISO management systems (ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 9001).
