Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage cost planning, procurement, and commercial reporting on multiple live projects.
  • Lead contract administration and negotiation with subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Conduct regular site visits and liaise with project managers, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Monitor project budgets, forecast costs, and ensure timely financial reporting.
  • Ensure all commercial practices align with company policies and contractual obligations.
  • Support and mentor junior team members when necessary.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor.
  • Proven track record managing multiple construction projects (residential, commercial or industrial).
  • Strong knowledge of JCT and/or NEC contracts.
  • Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related field (RICS accreditation desirable).
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Based in or able to commute to Liverpool.
