We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team, delivering a variety of general construction projects across Preston, Liverpool, and the North West. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced QS who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working on diverse projects from inception through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Take full commercial responsibility for multiple construction projects.
• Manage cost planning, budgets, valuations, and financial forecasting.
• Prepare and negotiate tenders, contracts, and sub-contract agreements.
• Monitor and control project costs, ensuring profitability is maintained.
• Provide accurate and timely reporting to senior management.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Lead and mentor junior members of the commercial team.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor on general construction projects.
• Strong understanding of contracts (JCT/NEC) and commercial processes.
• Excellent numerical, analytical, and negotiation skills.
• Relevant qualifications (Degree / HNC in Quantity Surveying or related field).
• Professional membership (RICS) desirable but not essential.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between sites.
