Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee cost planning, procurement, and budget control for multiple small-scale projects.
  • Manage subcontractor packages, payments, and variations.
  • Liaise directly with clients, suppliers, and site teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Prepare valuations, cost reports, and final accounts.
  • Ensure commercial practices meet contractual and company standards.
  • Respond quickly to changing project demands and maintain a strong grip on costs and timeframes.

About You:

  • Minimum 3+ years of QS experience, ideally in a small works or maintenance environment.
  • Confident managing multiple concurrent projects with values up to £100K.
  • Familiarity with JCT contracts (minor works and intermediate forms).
  • Comfortable working independently and making commercial decisions.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Based in or within commutable distance to Liverpool.
