The Role:
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor who wants to work on public sector projects, managing costs from tender stage through to project completion. You’ll be responsible for:
- Preparing and managing cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documentation.
- Monitoring project budgets, cash flow, and cost reporting.
- Valuing contractor applications and managing variations.
- Liaising with clients, contractors, and design teams.
- Supporting risk management and contractual compliance.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction sector, ideally on public/council projects.
- Strong knowledge of contract administration, cost control, and procurement processes.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Relevant professional qualification (RICS, CIOB, or equivalent) preferred.
