Project Scheduler / Residential Planner – South Cheshire
New Build Housing

£35,000 - £45,000 + Package

 

We are seeking an organised and detail-driven Project Scheduler / Residential Planner to join our growing team, supporting the delivery of high-quality new build housing developments across South Cheshire. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong planning and scheduling expertise to play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, on programme, and to the highest standards.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Develop, maintain, and manage project schedules for multiple residential developments.
  • Work closely with project managers, site teams, and subcontractors to track progress.
  • Monitor critical paths, identify potential delays, and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Produce and update programmes using industry-standard planning software.
  • Report on project progress to senior management, highlighting risks and opportunities.
  • Support in resource planning and allocation to ensure efficient delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and client requirements.

 

Requirements

 

  • Proven experience as a Project Scheduler / Planner, ideally within residential construction or new build housing.
  • Strong knowledge of planning processes, project controls, and scheduling techniques.
  • Proficiency with planning software (e.g., Asta Powerproject, Primavera, or MS Project).
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multiple projects and teams.
  • Relevant qualifications in construction management, planning, or related field (desirable).
