Our client is a leading construction business known for delivering high-quality projects across the Manchester area. With a growing pipeline of exciting developments, they are looking to expand the team with a motivated and experienced Pre-Construction Planner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage tender and pre-construction programmes using planning software (e.g., Primavera P6, Asta Powerproject).
  • Work collaboratively with bid managers, estimators, designers, and project managers to align timelines and methodologies.
  • Review and assess contract documentation to identify project risks, constraints, and opportunities.
  • Prepare methodology statements and phasing plans to support bid submissions.
  • Provide technical input into project planning and resource allocation strategies.
  • Attend tender review meetings and support presentations to clients.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Planner within the construction industry, ideally in a pre-construction or tendering environment.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methodologies and sequencing.
  • Proficiency in planning software (e.g., Asta Powerproject, Primavera P6, MS Project).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Degree in Construction Management
