Plasterer

Responsibilities:

• Apply plaster to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces to create smooth finishes.
• Prepare surfaces for plastering by cleaning, repairing, and applying bonding agents as necessary.
• Mix plaster materials according to specifications for optimal application.
• Use hand tools and power tools effectively to achieve desired results.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters and bricklayers, to ensure project timelines are met.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following health and safety regulations.
• Inspect completed work for quality assurance and make necessary adjustments.
• Assist in the installation of fixtures or fittings as required.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Plasterer or in a similar role within the construction industry.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to plastering tasks.
• Knowledge of masonry techniques is highly desirable.
• Skills in carpentry, bricklaying, or welding will be considered an asset.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Physical stamina and strength to perform manual tasks over extended periods.
