Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and update detailed project programmes using industry-recognised planning software (Asta Powerproject, Primavera P6, or MS Project).
  • Support pre-construction and bid teams by preparing tender programmes, logistics plans, and methodology statements specific to care home projects.
  • Monitor site progress and highlight any delays, risks, or opportunities with clear mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with project managers, site teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure accurate scheduling and programme reporting.
  • Assist with resource and cost loading to support financial forecasting.
  • Ensure all planning activities align with the unique requirements of care home environments, including staged handovers, safety regulations, and minimal disruption to residents or neighbouring facilities.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record as a Construction Planner, ideally with experience in care home, healthcare, or residential projects.
  • Proficiency in Asta Powerproject, Primavera P6, or MS Project.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
  • Good knowledge of construction methodologies and regulatory frameworks within care/healthcare settings.
  • Degree or equivalent qualification in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field (desirable).
