Multi-Skilled Operative (Temporary – 6 Months)

We are currently seeking a Multi-Skilled Operative to join our team on a temporary basis for 6 months in the new build housing sector in Radcliffe. The ideal candidate will have experience in patch plastering, basic joinery, and mastic works. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is versatile, reliable, and enjoys working on various tasks within the construction and maintenance of new build homes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out patch plastering to a high standard in new build homes.
• Perform basic joinery tasks, such as repairs and installations, in new build properties.
• Complete mastic works in bathrooms, kitchens, and other areas as required.
• Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and the specific requirements of new build housing projects.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment on-site.
• Work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience in patch plastering, joinery, and mastic works, ideally within the new build housing sector.
• Ability to manage time effectively and work to deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
• Good communication skills and a team player.
• Ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision.
• Previous experience in new build housing projects is preferred.

Qualifications:

• Relevant trade qualifications or proven experience in a similar role.
• CSCS card (preferred but not essential).

Contract Type: Temporary (6 months)
