Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with general site clearance, including moving materials and debris.
  • Loading and unloading construction materials and equipment.
  • Supporting tradespeople with their tasks as required.
  • Maintaining a clean and organised work environment.
  • Assisting with setting up scaffolding, barriers, and safety signage.
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
  • Operating basic machinery or tools if trained and authorised to do so.
  • Following instructions from site supervisors to meet project deadlines.

Requirements:

  • Valid CSCS card is essential.
  • Previous experience in a labouring role is advantageous.
  • Good physical fitness and stamina for manual work throughout the day.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a busy construction environment.
  • Strong awareness of health and safety procedures on-site.
  • Reliable, punctual, and willing to undertake physically demanding tasks.
  • Basic understanding of construction site protocols and safety standards is desirable.
