Joiner

Job Role & Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for a wide range of joinery duties, primarily focused on first and second fix stages of the build, including but not limited to:

First Fix Works:

• Installing stud walls, door linings, window boards, and floor joists.
• Fitting partition walls and structural timber work.
• Preparing and laying sub-flooring, staircases, and other core structures.

Second Fix Works:

• Hanging internal doors, architraves, and skirting boards.
• Fitting kitchen units, cabinetry, and other bespoke joinery elements.
• Installing ironmongery, fixtures, and final finishings to a high standard.
• Working closely with site managers and other trades to meet project deadlines.
• Ensuring all work is carried out in line with health & safety regulations and site standards.
• Reporting any issues or material shortages to the site supervisor.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in joinery (both first and second fix).
• Valid CSCS Card (Blue Skilled Worker preferred).
• Own tools and full PPE.
• Ability to work efficiently, accurately, and independently.
• Good communication skills and a professional attitude on site.
• Own transport is desirable but not essential.

Details:

• Start Date: Immediate.
• Location: M16, Manchester.
• Rate: £22–£23 per hour (CIS/Umbrella).
• Hours: Monday to Friday, standard site hours (weekend work may be available).
