Handyperson

General duties:

• Able to work with hand tools/power tools.
• Assisting site team with day to day tasks (erecting signage, barriers, heras fencing etc.).
• Maintaining the site appearance day to day.
• Handy man / experience of multi skilling of general building trades.
• We will also be requiring the handy man to take on duties around preparation for air-tightness testing for the plots.
• Support on pre-plaster inspections.
• Installing sheet protection, door protection, window protection.
• Support with general labouring duties as and when required.
• Able to work as part of the wider on site team (gate person, labourers, forklift driver).
• Advantageous to have (Traffic Marshall/Banksman) but not essential.
• Individual needs to be motivated and keen to show a high standard of work in a fast paced working environment.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Handyman or in a similar role, demonstrating a broad skill set in maintenance tasks.
• CSCS card that is in date.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, and general repair techniques.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Good physical condition and stamina for manual labour tasks.
• Valid driver's licence is preferred but not essential.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact positively with clients.
