Handyman

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handyman to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse range of maintenance and repair skills, demonstrating a strong ability to tackle various tasks efficiently. This role requires a proactive individual who can work independently and is committed to providing high-quality service to our clients.

A CSCS card is ESSENTIAL in order to apply for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Able to work with hand tools / power tools.
• Assisting site team with day to day tasks (erecting signage, barriers, heras fencing etc.).
• Maintaining the site appearance day to day.
• Handy man / experience of multi skilling of general building trades (joinery background would be advantageous).
• We will also be requiring the handy man to take on duties around preparation for air-tightness testing for the plots (training will be given on this on site by WD).
• Installing visqueen to underside of trusses in plots (Air tightness).
• Comfortable to work on accessing equipment / hop’up etc.
• Assisting with painting of passive purple air tightness paint on block work for apartments.
• Support on pre-plaster inspections.
• Installing sheet protection, door protection, window protection etc.
• Support with general labouring duties as and when required on site.
• Able to work as part of the wider on site WD team (gate person, labourers, forklift driver).
• Advantageous to have (Traffic Marshall/Banksman/PASMA for erecting tower scaffolds).
• Individual needs to be motivated and keen to show a high standard of work in a fast paced working environment.

Contract length: 12 months
