Handyman

Duties:

• Assist with general labour duties such as carrying materials, loading and unloading equipment, and cleaning work areas.
• Follow instructions from supervisors and collaborate effectively with team members to complete tasks efficiently.
• Pre Plaster work once units are being completed.
• Assist with site preparation and clean up tasks as needed.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations on-site at all times to maintain a secure working environment.

Skills:

• Valid CSCS card is required.
• Previous experience in a similar labourer role within the construction industry is preferred.
• Knowledge of basic construction practices and techniques.
• Ability to work well in a team environment and follow instructions accurately.
• ​​​​​​​Physical fitness and stamina to handle the demands of manual labour.​​​​​​​
• Strong work ethic and reliability.

P.P.E required:

• Hard hat
• High visibility vest
• High visibility pants
• Safety boots
• Gloves

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Contract length: 80 weeks

Experience:

• Building Site: 5 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• CSCS (required)
• Manual Handling (preferred)
• Asbestos Awareness (preferred)
