Freelance Construction Planner

The Role:

You’ll play a critical role in the pre-construction and delivery planning of major commercial developments, collaborating with project teams to ensure realistic programmes are developed and maintained throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain detailed construction programmes using Asta Power project or Primavera P6.
• Work closely with project managers, estimators, and design teams to integrate planning solutions.
• Monitor progress, identify delays, and propose mitigation strategies.
• Attend project meetings (on-site and office-based as needed).
• Provide clear reporting on project timelines and critical path activities.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in planning roles within commercial construction projects.
• Proficiency in planning software (Asta Power project or P6 preferred).
• Strong understanding of UK construction processes and regulations.
• Able to work from the Leeds office several days a week.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
