Finishing Foreperson

You will be the main point of contact for the internal finishing works, working closely with subcontractors, suppliers, and site management to ensure all tasks are delivered to a high standard, on time, and in line with project specifications.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in internal finishes, a good eye for detail, and a proactive attitude towards quality control and site safety. As the build progresses, your responsibilities will expand to oversee the full internal finishing programme through to completion and handover.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate internal trades and subcontractors.
• Monitor and maintain high standards of quality across all internal works.
• Manage installation of internal wall panels and subsequent finishes.
• Ensure health and safety compliance on site.
• Liaise with Site Management and Project Teams to maintain program timelines.
• Conduct snagging, inspections, and ensure timely completion to a high standard.
• Drive works through to successful handover.

Requirements:

• Valid CSCS card.
• SMSTS or SSSTS certification.
• First Aid certification (desirable).
• Proven experience as a Finishing Foreperson or similar role on new build residential projects.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple trades and push programme forward effectively.
