Finisher/Snagger (Multi-Tradesperson)

The Role:

As a Finisher/Snagger, you’ll play a vital role in getting properties ready for CML (Council of Mortgage Lenders) sign-off. This is a hands-on position suited to someone who takes pride in their work and has the flexibility to carry out a wide range of tasks across different trades.

You’ll be the go-to person for final stage works, tackling everything from minor joinery and plaster patching to mastic work, touch-up painting, and more—ensuring a flawless finish that meets high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out a wide range of finishing and snagging works on new build homes.
• Ensure properties are ready for CML inspections and handover.
• Identify and rectify minor defects efficiently and independently.
• Liaise with site management and other trades to support smooth project delivery.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a multi-trader/finisher/snagger in the housebuilding sector.
• Ability to work independently and to tight deadlines.
• Eye for detail and strong problem-solving skills.
• Own tools and transport preferred.
• CSCS card required.
