Design Manager

Residential & Mixed-Use Developments | Permanent

As Design Manager, you will take responsibility for managing the design process from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring all design information is coordinated, compliant, and aligned with the construction programme.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing the design process across all project stages.
• Coordinating consultants, architects, and specialist designers.
• Reviewing and managing design information, drawings, and specifications.
• Ensuring design compliance with building regulations and employer’s requirements.
• Working closely with construction, commercial, and client teams.
• Identifying and resolving design risks and buildability issues.
• Supporting value engineering and design development exercises.

About You:

• Proven experience in a Design Manager or Senior Design Coordinator role.
• Background working on residential or mixed-use developments.
• Strong understanding of design management and construction processes.
• Experience coordinating external consultants and design teams.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Relevant construction or design qualifications preferred.
