This is a fantastic opportunity for a Design Manager who thrives on collaboration and problem-solving, and who enjoys being at the heart of project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the design process from pre-construction through to handover.
• Coordinate design information between consultants, subcontractors and internal teams.
• Ensure designs are buildable, compliant and aligned with budget, programme and quality expectations.
• Chair design meetings and provide clear communication between all stakeholders.
• Identify and mitigate design risks while driving value engineering opportunities.
• Support bid and pre-construction teams with technical input for tenders and presentations.
• Maintain strong client relationships, ensuring expectations are met and exceeded.

About You:

The successful candidate will be a confident communicator with a strong technical background, excellent organisational skills and a track record of managing the design function on a variety of projects.

Essential Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Design Manager (or Design Coordinator ready to step up).
• Strong knowledge of construction processes and technical detailing.
• Experience across commercial, industrial, education, extra care or residential projects.
• Excellent leadership and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
• Proficient in design management systems and collaborative working platforms.
