We joined Faye Chilekwa and some of the Caddick North West team to spend the afternoon volunteering with Rachel from the Salford ranger team, at Kersal Vale close to our Arrow Street site.
Tasks included cutting back to make the footpaths accessible, working in the heathland helping to preserve the heather by removing treelings, weeds and brambles that were smothering the heather. It was very physical, but we had some great weather and fantastic team spirit.
