Pippa had the pleasure of working alongside Rowan Todd at the Skills Group Academy in Rotherham this week. Chris Hull and Jordan Langley invited us to see the premises where we saw learners completing a course covering their CSCS, H&S level 1, and hands-on trades experience covering:
- Plastering
- Joinery
- Brickwork
- Block paving
The facility also looks to mirror the real life of being on site with its own canteen as well as office space for the coursework. We met 18 people either with experience or looking to join our industry for the first time - all were keen and ready to work! Thank you for the invite Rowan and Chris.
