Mock interviews at Oldham Sixth Form College

We facilitated mock interviews at Oldham Sixth Form College on behalf of Willmott Dixon Construction.

The day was all about helping students gain hands-on experience in an assessment centre environment — from ice-breakers and case studies to presentations and interviews. Narina B. delivered a session focused on supporting young people to build their confidence, refine their interview technique, and understand how to highlight their strengths effectively. One participant shared: “The interview was conducted very well. Narina did a fantastic job at giving us an insight into what questions we can expect in an interview in the future.

There was a very good balance between questions that are straightforward where the STAR(R) method can easily be applied, and others that were slightly more tricky to answer, which made for a great balance of questions.” Huge thank you to everyone at the college for organising such an insightful day — and to the students for bringing so much enthusiasm and effort to every activity
