Our Aftercare and Well-being Manager, Stephanie Harrop is now CPD certified by the Institute of Government & Public Policy.
She recently attended a Mental Health in Construction 2023 Online Conference. There were various charities and organisations speaking such as Lighthouse Club, Construction Sport, HSE, Money and Mental Health Policy Institute and MHFA. Stephanie commented "It was certainly beneficial as it was all about Mental Health and Well-being within the Construction Industry, how we can make it more visible as well as ways to help workers out there if they feel they are in a crisis. The speakers were very inspirational and truly want to make a difference and help make it easier for Construction workers to talk. I told the panel about my role, how I keep in regular contact with our workers, and they thought it was a great idea and were very impressed".
Stephanie speaks to all our workers at least fortnightly and already in 2023 has recorded 90 hours of support calls.
