Food Donations from Tilbury Douglas
We had the pleasure of being invited to the Tilbury Douglas Supply Chain Roadshow which gave us great insight into their plan for developing relationships with their subcontractors. At this event they asked their supply chain to donate food to support a local cause close to their All Saints scheme in Rawtenstall. 25 bags of food later (and a rather full car to drop it off), the food provision was donated to the Rossendale Food Box Scheme which has 15 food boxes, run by volunteers local to the job, that support families and individuals who are struggling to manage income and need to reach out for food help locally. The amount donated will cover families as we go into Christmas.Big thank you from the Rossendale Food Box scheme to Lucy Bansal and Chloe Roberts for arranging this to support for a very local cause that has been struggling for donations recently.
