Permanent / Long Term Opportunity

The Role:

As Site Manager, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme and to a high standard.

You will work closely with the Contracts Manager, engineers and subcontractors to coordinate activities on site and ensure smooth project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing site operations on groundworks and civil engineering projects.
  • Supervising subcontractors and site teams.
  • Ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to specification.
  • Managing health & safety compliance on site.
  • Liaising with clients, engineers and internal project teams.
  • Coordinating plant, materials and labour.
  • Monitoring progress and reporting to senior management.
  • Maintaining site records and documentation.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager within groundworks or civil engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of residential or infrastructure groundworks packages.
  • SMSTS.
  • CSCS Card.
  • First Aid (preferred).
  • Strong organisational and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple trades and subcontractors on site.
