Permanent / Long Term Opportunity
The Role:
As Site Manager, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme and to a high standard.
You will work closely with the Contracts Manager, engineers and subcontractors to coordinate activities on site and ensure smooth project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing site operations on groundworks and civil engineering projects.
- Supervising subcontractors and site teams.
- Ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to specification.
- Managing health & safety compliance on site.
- Liaising with clients, engineers and internal project teams.
- Coordinating plant, materials and labour.
- Monitoring progress and reporting to senior management.
- Maintaining site records and documentation.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Site Manager within groundworks or civil engineering.
- Strong knowledge of residential or infrastructure groundworks packages.
- SMSTS.
- CSCS Card.
- First Aid (preferred).
- Strong organisational and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple trades and subcontractors on site.
