As a Traffic Banksman, you will be responsible for the safety of pedestrians and road users on a construction site.
To succeed in this role, you must have excellent communication and customer service skills and the ability to think quickly and calmly in stressful situations. You will be required to work outdoors in all weather, so you must be physically fit and able to work in various conditions.
You will also need to understand road traffic regulations and be able to use a range of equipment, such as traffic cones, signs and barriers. Previous experience in a similar role is essential, and you must have a Traffic Banksman certificate.
